Surf Till 100 Announces Expedition To Peru To Be Held In May 2020

July 30, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - Surf Till 100, based in Princeville, Hawaii, has announced that their upcoming expedition to Peru with Champions Felipe Pomar, Tom Woods and Jeff Hakman, will be held on May 23 to 30, 2020. The Surf Till 100 surf riders will be surfing the longest point break wave in the world. More information about the Peru expedition can be gleaned from https://home.surftill100.com/PeruExpedition.

Tom Woods says, “Our mission in this Peru Expedition is to take bold and committed adventurers on an expedition into the Ancient Temples of our Planet's Earliest Surfers, to surf the longest point break wave in the world, ride surf craft designed over 5,000 years ago, to introduce beginners to surfing and for you to experience the unfoldment of the knowledge and ability to Surf Till 100.”

Only 16 people will be invited to join the Peru expedition to travel back into time to discover and experience the spirit and birth place of ancient surfing. The participants will be on privately guided tours, with surfing experts and professional guides, traveling into the depths of the sacred archaeological sites and ancient surfing history. Participants will also learn life changing, longevity principles.

Tom Woods points out, “Imagine learning to develop the heart and mind of the champion within you. Imagine learning how to design and live the life of your dreams, a life that really matters, from champions that have already done it and continue to do it.”

The Peru expedition is known as “The Huanchaco Surf Riders of Peru 2020 Expedition: Voyage into the Ancient Origins of Surfing.” The base camp for the Peru expedition will be the historical city of Huanchaco, the center of Peru’s ancient surf culture.

Participants will retrace and rediscover the ancient history of the world’s first surf riders and learn their secrets while visiting their sacred sites and temples. They will learn the ancient rituals and beliefs of the Mochica and Chimu people, the ancient inhabitants of the Peruvian coast before the expansion of the Inca Empire. They will be able to visit the temples that are as ancient as the pyramids of Egypt. Huanchaco is South America’s first World Surfing Reserve.

The Surf Till 100 mission objective is to take the participants on a transformative expedition with legendary surfers and healthy lifestyle leaders. Their primary commitment is to strengthen them in the development of the mind, body, and heart. This will help reduce the person’s odds of developing heart disease, reduce the person’s odds of developing Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and help them retain the ability to remember their loved ones and surfing memories.

It will also help participants decrease inflammation and the pain that comes with it. It will also help the participants learn how to master stress, build emotional resilience, and enjoy a more joyful and harmonious life. It will also help them live a life that may save them thousands of dollars in doctor’s bills and help them remain physically, mentally and spiritually active for many more years.

Those who have already participated in previous Peru expeditions have mostly positive things to say about the experience. For example, Tim S. said, “[...] It was a trip of a lifetime! From a cultural immersion perspective, this surfing pilgrimage destination is of deep significance and relevance to all wave riders. [...] Add to the above features the awesome opportunity to have Felipe Pomar as one of your country and surfing guides. [...] He is a truly motivational figure and keen to share insights that will bring life to your years, and years to your life!”

Surf Till 100 is committed to building a culture of champions. As such, they are dedicated to: teaching evidence based wellness and leadership programs that will provide people with the physical vitality, mind and heart of a champion and the ability and willingness to make the world a better place; and developing heart based intelligence in leaders and team that are actively contributing to the paradigm shift from the survival of the fittest mentality to the survival of the most loving mentality, which supports Hope, Healing and Life.
