ERC Tax Refund Calculator & Qualification Check For SMBs With PPP Loans Updated

May 10, 2023

This no-cost tax refund calculator has been updated by ERTC Express to approximate how much small businesses may be eligible for in pandemic relief funds, even if they have already received one or both rounds of PPP loans.

ERTC Express has partnered with a pandemic relief specialist CPA firm to launch an updated tax rebate calculator which is available to all businesses, including startups and non-profits, with no cost or obligation.

More information about the no-cost rebate calculator, maximum allowable rebates, and claiming ERC in 2023 can be found at http://ercrefundsuccess.com

The new calculator service is paired with a fast eligibility assessment, which can help nearly any employer to determine if they qualify for rebates using the answers to 10 simple questions. With the latest updates, employers may be able to qualify even if they have already received one or both rounds of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, or if they were previously disqualified for some other reason.

The Employee Retention Credit (ERC) was first launched with the CARES Act in 2020, and offered small rebates to select businesses as a reimbursement for keeping employees on the payroll. Since then, the ERC program has gone through several changes that have expanded the eligibility to include most small and medium business owners, and enlarged the maximum allowable rebates.

Business owners may now be able to claim up to $26,000 per employee, with no upper limit on funding. Unlike other pandemic relief programs, these funds are not a loan, never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.

To qualify, a business must have had between 3 and 500 W-2 employees on the payroll during 2020 and 2021, and have been negatively affected by the pandemic in some way. Using the no-cost eligibility assessment, this can be shown through financial losses, temporary closures, remote working limitations, or a number of other circumstances.

After completing the eligibility assessment, employers can claim their rebates using the CPA firm’s fast rebate application service, which uses 3 CPAs to check each file, to ensure each employer receives their maximum allowable refund. While individual refunds will vary, the average small business has been receiving approximately $150,000.

While the ERTC Express eligibility assessment and refund calculator are available with no cost or obligation, the fast application service does carry a small fee. However, the service includes a no-risk, no up-front fee policy, so that any employer who does not receive a rebate will not be charged, and any employer that does receive a rebate, will not be charged until after they receive it.
