Brock Purdy takes NFL career passer rating record
Purdy's rating of 105.6 puts him ahead of previous record holder Lamar Jackson after he passed the 1,500-attempt qualifying threshold.

Brock Purdy has moved into first place on the NFL's career passer rating list after reaching the minimum number of attempts required to qualify. His 105.6 rating now leads all eligible quarterbacks.
Qualification requires at least 1,500 career pass attempts. Purdy has now attempted 1,524 passes, completing 1,038 for 13,145 yards. His career totals include 98 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson previously held the record and has a rating of 102.7. Behind him are Aaron Rodgers of the Steelers, with 101.8; Joe Burrow of the Bengals, with 101.3; and Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs, with 100.8.
The NFL made passer rating its official measure for ranking passers in 1973. The calculation uses completion percentage, yards gained per pass, touchdown percentage and interception percentage. It does not account for first downs, sacks, fumbles or rushing, limiting the aspects of quarterback performance reflected in the statistic.
