Chiefs cornerback Chris Roland-Wallace was ejected from the game against the Chargers after punching right tackle Alex Harkey at the start of the fourth quarter.

Harkey had knocked Roland-Wallace down after the whistle on the quarter’s opening play. Officials first assessed unsportsmanlike conduct penalties that offset each other. Replay assist then alerted the crew to the punch, leading to Roland-Wallace’s disqualification.

Before his ejection, Roland-Wallace recorded four tackles, including a tackle for loss. An interception he made during the first half was nullified by a roughing the passer penalty.

Kansas City was also without right tackle Jaylon Moore for the remainder of the game after he was ruled out because of a concussion. Joshua Ezeudu replaced him on the offensive line.
