Dallas linebacker DeMarvion Overshown will be absent when the Cowboys face the Packers at Lambeau Field because of a hamstring injury. The Cowboys said he had remained behind as the team traveled to Green Bay.

His most recent appearance was in Week 1. Overshown had been designated questionable for the Packers matchup, although coach Brian Schottenheimer had indicated that he was unlikely to play.

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. joined the trip but is still questionable because of an ankle injury. Porter made his Dallas debut within days of arriving, then a sudden illness prevented him from making a second appearance.

Dallas also brought two players up from its practice squad: Derion Kendrick at cornerback and Juanyeh Thomas at safety. Kendrick offers an additional option if Porter is unavailable against Green Bay.
