The Atlanta Dream said October 28 that all tickets had been sold for their October 29 WNBA Finals matchup against the Golden State Valkyries. Game 6 will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena, which has a capacity of 17,044.

The early start accommodates an NBA game at the venue: the Atlanta Hawks face the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8 p.m. ET. In an October 27 statement, the Dream's ownership group said it had alerted the WNBA to scheduling conflicts two months earlier, after the league finalized its playoff schedule.

Atlanta is seeking its first championship but trails Golden State 3-2 in the best-of-seven series after losing 64-55 in San Francisco in Game 5. A Dream victory would force Game 7, scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m. ET at San Francisco's Chase Center.

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens asked employers and educators to give flexibility to people attending or watching Game 6. Dream forward Angel Reese shared his statement on Instagram. Rapper Flavor Flav also encouraged support, posting a mock excuse letter for fans on social media.
