Cornerback A.J. Terrell will play after the Falcons restored him to their active roster, the team announced. He had been on injured reserve following a groin injury sustained in Week 2.

Terrell resumed practicing before his activation. His return puts him on the 53-player roster, and he has been cleared of his injury designation.

In other roster moves, Atlanta put offensive tackle Michael Jerrell on injured reserve with a biceps injury and added defensive end Drake Jackson to the active roster. Running back Khalil Herbert and linebacker Brian Asamoah were elevated from the practice squad for the game against the 49ers.

Wide receiver Beaux Collins will miss the game with a hip injury, while an ankle injury rules out offensive tackle Cameron Williams. Defensive back Avieon Terrell remains questionable: he now has an illness in addition to the hamstring injury behind his existing designation.
