Grealish expected to miss Everton's league trip to Newcastle
The Athletic reports that the winger has not traveled because he is unfit, following his omission from Everton's EFL Cup squad over a disciplinary issue.

Everton winger Jack Grealish is expected to miss the Premier League match at Newcastle United on November 2. According to The Athletic, the 31-year-old is unfit and did not accompany the squad to St James’ Park.
His availability for the subsequent home fixture against Coventry City remains uncertain, The Athletic reported. Grealish also missed Everton’s 2-0 league loss at Arsenal because of illness.
Everton left him out of their home EFL Cup victory over Newcastle for a breach of club discipline. Manager David Moyes said afterward that he backed the club’s decision but declined to elaborate. Moyes did not confirm the precise reason for the disciplinary action.
On loan from Manchester City for a second season, Grealish has recorded neither a goal nor an assist across eight appearances in all competitions this term. A long-term injury curtailed his first Everton spell.
Everton occupy 14th place in the Premier League. Newcastle are 12th, one point ahead of Moyes’s side.
