Green Bay took a 14-10 lead over Detroit when Josh Jacobs turned a reception into a 25-yard touchdown, leaving 12:14 in the third quarter. The score followed the Lions’ second lost fumble across the end of the first half and the start of the second.

Detroit lost possession twice within 1:07 of game time, with center Cade Mays involved in each turnover. Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie recovered the ball on both occasions. The Lions had entered the game with only one fumble.

The first turnover came with 19 seconds remaining before halftime as Detroit threatened near the end zone. Mays collided with running back Jahmyr Gibbs, knocking the ball loose. An aborted snap involving Mays on the second play after halftime produced the next turnover.

Jacobs stayed along the sideline on his scoring play. Making his 2026 debut following a return from paid leave, he had six carries for 12 yards, plus three receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown.
