The Jaguars want to stop staging an annual home game in London starting in 2028, when renovations to their Jacksonville stadium are due to be finished, team President Mark Lamping said.

Lamping spoke in London ahead of the Jaguars' matchup with the Texans. According to the Associated Press, he said the stadium's reopening would make 2028 a natural choice for keeping the full home schedule in Jacksonville.

The team has held one home matchup at Wembley Stadium annually since 2013. Lamping said that arrangement should end in 2028.

Renovation work is underway at EverBank Stadium. With numerous seating sections unavailable, Jacksonville crowds have been smaller. The Jaguars will stage most home games in Orlando while the construction continues.
