Jeffery Simmons is preparing to make his Chicago Bears debut against the Seahawks on Monday night after being traded by the Titans. It will be his first prime-time appearance since 2023, with another scheduled against the Buccaneers the following Sunday night.

Simmons said he was excited about joining Chicago and having the opportunity to help the Bears win important games. He described making his first appearance for the team on a Monday night as a situation NFL players dream about.

The Titans have no prime-time games scheduled in 2026 and had none in 2025. Their 2024 schedule included one, but Simmons was sidelined for that matchup because of an elbow injury.

Simmons said he had become accustomed to Sunday games at noon in Nashville, leaving him time to return home and watch the evening broadcast. He said that routine had made prime-time games feel special to him as a viewer as well as a player.
