Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he does not envision replacing head coach Brian Schottenheimer during the season after the team lost 33-30 to the Arizona Cardinals in overtime at home.

Asked after the game whether he would consider changing coaches, Jones recalled dismissing Wade Phillips during a season. He said he was not proud of that decision and did not see the same situation unfolding with Schottenheimer, according to comments reported by Jon Machota of TheAthletic.com.

Dallas had led 14-0 before Arizona rallied. The Cardinals tied the score with six seconds remaining in regulation, then missed an extra-point attempt that allowed the game to reach overtime.

The defeat left the Cowboys with a 3-5 record overall and a 1-2 mark at home. Their other home loss came against the Bucs.
