Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes to extend his season-opening streak of multi-touchdown games to eight, moving ahead of Brett Favre into second place in franchise history.

Favre began the 1995 season with seven consecutive games of at least two touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers holds the Packers record with 15 such games at the start of 2011. Both quarterbacks earned NFL MVP honors in those respective seasons.

Love's latest performance included 30 completions on 41 attempts for 288 yards. He also threw one interception alongside his three touchdowns.

For the season, Love leads the NFL in four passing categories: attempts with 312, completions with 192, yards with 2,246 and touchdown passes with 16.
