Juventus reportedly approach Nagelsmann as Spalletti faces uncertain future
The coach has also been linked with Manchester United, where Michael Carrick appears to retain board backing despite four defeats in five games.

Juventus have expressed interest in Julian Nagelsmann while considering a possible managerial change, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, as cited by Manchester Evening News. The report identifies him as the Italian club’s first choice to replace Luciano Spalletti.
Spalletti’s position is under scrutiny after Juventus won only two of their last seven games. A home loss to Napoli could end his tenure. Didier Deschamps, Stefano Pioli, Sergio Conceicao and Antonio Conte are also reportedly being considered as alternatives.
Nagelsmann, the former Bayern Munich and Germany coach, had also emerged as a leading contender for the Manchester United job, alongside Eddie Howe and Unai Emery. Carrick nevertheless appears to retain the support of United’s board and is expected to lead the team against Roma in the Champions League.
United’s 2-0 loss at Chelsea left them with four defeats from their last five matches. Morgan Rogers put Chelsea ahead before Cole Palmer scored a penalty. Lisandro Martinez was sent off after raising his forearm toward Wesley Fofana, conceding the spot kick.
After the match, Carrick thanked United’s traveling supporters for applauding the team and said his players needed to draw encouragement from their performance.
