Lamar Jackson expected to return against Bills after ankle injury
Ian Rapoport reports that Baltimore expects its quarterback back for the trip to Buffalo, but his availability has not been confirmed.

Lamar Jackson is expected to rejoin Baltimore’s lineup for its road game against the Buffalo Bills, NFL Network/ESPN reporter Ian Rapoport said on Oct. 27. The Ravens quarterback has been sidelined by an ankle injury sustained during Baltimore’s 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Oct. 4.
Appearing on ESPN’s “Big Day with Peter Schrager,” Rapoport said people he had spoken with indicated Jackson would play. He said the Ravens shared that expectation and that Jackson was believed to be approaching 100 percent following what he described as a two-to-three-week injury. His participation remains unofficial.
Jackson had also appeared likely to return against the Cincinnati Bengals before being ruled out the day before the game. Rapoport suggested Baltimore wanted him ready for both Buffalo and the Jacksonville Jaguars matchup on Nov. 5.
Tyler Huntley has filled in during Jackson’s absence, helping the Ravens defeat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 in overtime on Oct. 11. Baltimore then fell 13-10 to the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 18 and lost 35-13 at home to Cincinnati. The Ravens are 4-3 heading into the Buffalo game; the Bills are 5-1 and coming off a bye.
