Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb believes Dallas can still win the NFC East despite a 2-4 start, saying the team considers its roster the division’s strongest but needs its performances to match that assessment.

Speaking in comments carried by the Cowboys’ website, Lamb acknowledged that poor results elsewhere in the division had helped keep Dallas in contention. He said the Cowboys understood where they were making mistakes and identified complementary play as an area needing improvement.

Dallas enters Week 7 preparing to face Philadelphia on Monday night. The Eagles also have a 2-4 record, while the Giants hold the division lead at 3-2-1 and face the Texans on Sunday.

Lamb’s confidence centered on turning the roster’s perceived strength into results. He said the Cowboys must demonstrate that quality when they take the field, rather than simply believing they have more talent than their rivals.
