Omar Cooper Jr. eyes rookie milestone against Raiders
The Jets receiver has topped 100 yards and scored a touchdown in each of his two games since returning from a high-ankle sprain.

Jets receiver Omar Cooper Jr. could become the fifth NFL rookie to record three consecutive games with at least 100 receiving yards and a touchdown if he reaches both marks against the Raiders.
The first-round rookie injured his ankle in Week 1 and did not return until Week 6. His comeback against the Patriots produced 103 yards and a touchdown, with six receptions from seven targets.
Cooper followed that performance with 115 yards and another touchdown against the Dolphins in Week 7. He caught all five passes directed his way, extending his run of 100-yard outings since returning from the high-ankle sprain.
According to NBC Sports research, only four rookies have previously put together a three-game streak meeting both benchmarks: Jimmy Orr in 1958, Randy Moss in 1998, and Odell Beckham Jr. and Mike Evans in 2014. Cooper needs another qualifying performance against the Raiders to join that group.
