Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur said November 2 that the Packers intend to have Micah Parsons resume practicing in the coming days, though his progress will determine whether that happens. Parsons is recovering from a torn ACL suffered late last season.

A return to practice would not mean an immediate appearance in a game. Green Bay plans to use much of the 21-day period available to activate Parsons from the physically unable to perform list. LaFleur said the timing would depend on his response and continued progress, with a longer wait more likely than a shorter one.

Parsons worked with trainers while the Packers held meetings and a walk-through on November 2 following their Thursday night victory over the Panthers. LaFleur cited that separate work in explaining why the team had not designated him to return.

Multiple reports identified Week 12 as Green Bay’s target for Parsons to play again. That matchup is against the Rams in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Eve.
