Patrick Kane reaches 900 career assists with Blackhawks
Kane is the NHL's 21st player to reach the milestone and the second active player, joining Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby.

Patrick Kane reached his 900th NHL assist on October 31, 2026, setting up Anton Frondell for a Chicago Blackhawks power-play goal against the Boston Bruins. The 37-year-old forward became the 21st player in league history to reach that mark.
Frondell scored his second goal of the season on the play, with Connor Bedard also earning an assist. Among active players, only Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby had previously reached 900 assists. Crosby now has 1,111.
Kane already held the assists record for American-born players after passing Phil Housley's 894 on Oct. 16. His 895th came when Bedard scored a first-period power-play goal against the Winnipeg Jets, and he added his 896th in an overtime win. Kane's career totals now stand at 509 goals and 1,409 points alongside his 900 assists.
The milestone follows Kane's return to Chicago in July on a two-year contract. He spent last season with the Detroit Red Wings, finishing with 16 goals, 41 assists and 57 points over 67 games.
