Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II has been listed as questionable because of an ankle injury, leaving open the possibility of his return. He has been sidelined since he was hurt against the 49ers in Week 4.

Surtain resumed practicing and remained limited through all three sessions, including Friday’s workout. Running back Jonah Coleman, also recovering from an ankle injury, could return as well.

Coleman completed three straight practices with full participation after his 21-day window to return to practice opened Wednesday. He was placed on injured reserve following Week 2.

Denver ruled out three players: running back Tyler Badie because of a thumb injury, and outside linebacker Jonah Elliss and safety Talanoa Hufanga because of ankle injuries. All three missed every practice.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, dealing with a chest injury, progressed from limited participation in the first two sessions to full participation Friday. Neither Waddle nor cornerback Riley Moss received a game-status designation. Moss, listed with a rib injury, also practiced fully Friday.
