The Patriots announced they have waived Elliott Davison, a 24-year-old safety who joined their active roster on Oct. 19. In a separate roster move, the team signed running back Terrell Jennings to its practice squad.

Davison recorded two defensive tackles and one special teams tackle after being elevated for two games. He also played against the Bears without recording any statistics. His playing time totaled 10 snaps on defense and 57 on special teams.

His stint with the Patriots began with a practice-squad signing on Sept. 3. The team released him on Sept. 14, then brought him back a day later before his October move to the active roster.

Davison's NFL career started in 2025, when the Saints signed him as an undrafted free agent. He spent last season with their practice squad and attended training camp with New Orleans this summer.
