Ramos questions limited PSG starts after move to AC Milan
The Portugal striker said he wanted a January departure to secure more playing time, but PSG kept him through the winter transfer window.

Goncalo Ramos has expressed frustration over his limited opportunities to start under Luis Enrique at Paris Saint-Germain, saying he had wanted to leave in January. The 25-year-old Portugal striker is now at AC Milan under Ruben Amorim.
Speaking on Canal 11’s Soltinhos pelo Mundo program, Ramos said he could not recall starting four or five successive games for PSG. He questioned why a run of goals had not brought him a more consistent place in the lineup.
Ramos scored against Salzburg, Lyon, Monaco and Lens during a spell spanning 10 to 22 December 2024, but was selected to start just one of those fixtures. PSG declined to let him leave during the winter window. He finished his time in Paris with 45 goals, 10 assists and 12 trophies across 131 appearances.
Milan has offered more regular selection, with Ramos starting ten of his first 11 appearances under Amorim. He is seeking greater consistency at club level to strengthen his role with Portugal, although he has struggled to reproduce his Ligue 1 scoring output in Serie A.
