Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is set to play against the Chargers despite a knee injury that left his status questionable. Linebacker Bud Dupree will not play for the Chargers because of a neck injury, leaving the teams with different outcomes for those injured defenders.

Dupree was among six Chargers carrying questionable designations before the matchup. The rest of that group is available, with Dupree the only player among them on the inactive list.

The Chiefs’ absences include two players previously ruled out: offensive tackle Josh Simmons and wide receiver Rashee Rice. Also unavailable are quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, tight end Jared Wiley, offensive tackle Diego Pounds, defensive end Jack Pyburn and defensive back Jadon Canady.

The Chargers had already ruled out right tackle Joe Alt, guard Kayode Awosika, cornerback Donte Jackson, receiver Tre’ Harris and safety Derwin James. Cornerback Rodney Shelley is inactive as well, after a hamstring injury led to a doubtful designation.
