Titans resist Tony Pollard trade talks as teams show interest
The running back has gained 246 rushing yards and scored five touchdowns over his past two games as the trade deadline approaches.

Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi has so far refused to discuss trading running back Tony Pollard, despite interest from several teams as the trade deadline approaches.
The team's stance follows a change involving defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Tennessee began hearing offers for Simmons after repeatedly telling other teams it would not trade him.
Pollard's last two appearances have yielded five rushing touchdowns and 246 yards, averaging 5.34 yards per carry. His eight-game rushing total stands at 595 yards, a pace that would give him a fifth straight 1,000-yard season. His previous four were split between two with the Cowboys and two with Tennessee.
Pollard has US$3.32 million in base salary left for 2026, along with a US$30,000 payment for each game he is on the active roster. Other teams have also been linked to Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, but Indianapolis has not yet moved close to terms that would produce a deal.
