Tottenham Hotspur intend to keep Destiny Udogie but could consider a substantial bid during the 2027 transfer windows, journalist Pete O'Rourke said on the Football Insider Transfer Insider podcast.

O'Rourke said Tottenham would need a particularly large offer to agree to sell the 23-year-old Italy international. He added that Udogie would likely be manager Roberto De Zerbi's first choice at left-back if he could maintain his fitness and play consistently.

A recurring knee issue has limited Udogie's involvement early in the 2026-27 season. He missed Tottenham's 3-1 win over Coventry City and is also unavailable for the away fixture against Chelsea. His most recent appearance came in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Udogie made just 20 Premier League appearances last season, when Djed Spence established himself at left-back. Summer signing Andy Robertson is now ahead of Udogie in De Zerbi's selection order. Premier Injuries expects Udogie to return for the match against Crystal Palace.
