Vikings set blitz-rate record in 16-10 win over Colts
Minnesota improved to 6-0 for the first time since 2009, with its winning streak reaching 11 games.

Minnesota beat Indianapolis 16-10 after blitzing on 85.2 percent of the Colts’ dropbacks, according to NBC Sports research. No team had recorded a higher blitz rate during the Next Gen Stats era, which began in 2016.
The Vikings held the Colts to 64 net passing yards. Minnesota recorded four sacks for losses totaling 44 yards, though Indianapolis found more success running the ball, gaining 154 yards on the ground.
On the Colts’ final drive, when they needed to pass, quarterback Daniel Jones threw an interception that sealed the result. It was his only turnover of the game, capping a defensive effort led by Brian Flores.
The victory left Minnesota at 6-0, a mark it had not reached since 2009. The Vikings also stretched their winning streak to 11 games, placing the run second in franchise history.
