Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick says Leny Yoro's tendon problem will not prevent the defender from facing Roma in the Champions League. The France international had raised concerns after training with his knee strapped.

Speaking to reporters on November 2, Carrick described the issue as intermittent and said Yoro had been managing it successfully. He also praised the defender's performances and his progress since returning for preseason.

Marcus Rashford's availability remains uncertain after a hip injury kept him out of United's past three games. Carrick said his recovery was being assessed daily. Luke Shaw, who has not played since October 10 because of an unspecified problem, will miss the Roma match.

Patrick Dorgu has resumed training following a hamstring injury but will not feature against Roma. Benjamin Sesko is also unavailable with a shin injury and could remain sidelined until the start of 2027.

United will face Aston Villa in the Premier League after Roma, with both games taking place before the November international break.
