Kansas City will be without cornerback Mansoor Delane and defensive tackle Peter Woods against the Jets, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters. Delane has a shoulder injury, while Woods is sidelined by a neck injury.

Delane, a first-round pick, will be absent for a second consecutive game despite taking part in practice on a limited basis. Kristian Fulton and Nohl Williams were the starting cornerbacks in the previous game without him.

Woods has not been practicing because of his injury. The Jets matchup will be his first missed game of the season, Reid said.

The visiting Jets also have an absence on offense, having ruled out receiver Garrett Wilson for the game in Kansas City.
