Guard Christian Haynes is headed to the Miami Dolphins rather than Baltimore after both teams submitted waiver claims. Miami's worse record gave it priority over the Ravens, who had announced they were claiming him.

Seattle waived Haynes after trading with the Colts for Quenton Nelson. The Dolphins waived offensive lineman DJ Campbell to make room for Haynes.

Haynes, 26, joined the Seahawks as a third-round selection in the 2024 draft. He has made five starts this season, most recently in Seattle's Week 6 defeat against Denver.

His role subsequently shifted to special teams for Seattle's win against the Chiefs. Across his three seasons, Haynes has played in 31 games, with all five of his career starts coming this season.
