Eagles put Dameon Pierce on injured reserve, promote Jaydon Blue
Pierce will miss at least four games after an undisclosed injury, becoming the Eagles’ fourth running back on injured reserve this season.

Dameon Pierce is headed to injured reserve as the Eagles bring fellow running back Jaydon Blue onto their active roster from the practice squad, the team announced.
An undisclosed injury forced Pierce out during the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game. He faces an absence of at least four games and becomes the fourth Eagles running back assigned to injured reserve this season. His three appearances produced 96 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries.
Blue returns for his second spell on the active roster this season. After joining the Eagles’ practice squad before the season began, he earned a promotion ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Panthers. The team waived him the next week, then brought him back to the practice squad.
Dallas selected Blue in the fifth round in 2025. In five games for the Cowboys, he recorded 129 yards and a touchdown on 34 rushes.
The Eagles also added three players to their practice squad: Evan Beerntsen, an offensive guard; Quentin Skinner, a wide receiver; and Shaun Wade, a defensive back.
