Garrett Wilson denies clash with Geno Smith after Jets loss
The receiver finished with two catches for 26 yards and said he and Smith wanted a more aggressive offensive approach.

The Jets’ 28-25 defeat by the Dolphins left Garrett Wilson and quarterback Geno Smith unhappy with the offense, not with each other, Wilson told reporters after the game.
The explanation followed CBS footage of an animated Wilson near Smith in the fourth quarter. Several Jets coaches were nearby as well. Wilson rejected the suggestion that his reaction stemmed from the number of passes directed his way.
In remarks carried by SNY, Wilson characterized the moment as a collaboration and said he did not think he had even been speaking to Smith. Both players, he said, were disappointed with the offensive performance and wanted greater aggression.
Wilson was targeted three times, making two receptions for 26 yards. His limited targets have been a recurring issue for the Jets this season.
