Kaden Honeycutt captured the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship with a victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway, finishing 83 points ahead of Layne Riggs in the standings. Honeycutt passed Christian Eckes on the final restart to secure his fifth win of the season.

Riggs began the race trailing Honeycutt by 20 points, but his title challenge unraveled after contact with Nick Sanchez on Lap 2. A flat tire forced Riggs to pit, followed by further stops for damage repairs and a penalty. He finished 32nd, six laps behind.

Crew chief Scott Zippadelli held Honeycutt back until the final restart. Honeycutt told Fox Sports that he had conserved his truck during the race's first half and credited Zippadelli with mentoring him and helping him improve.

The championship gave the No. 11 TRICON Garage team consecutive titles after Corey Heim's 2025 success. Eckes finished second, remaining without a victory for the season. Daniel Hemric placed third, followed by Ty Majeski and Stewart Friesen.

Heim won both opening stages and finished sixth. Chandler Smith, Jake Garcia, Grant Enfinger and Corey LaJoie filled the remaining top-10 positions. Sanchez finished last in 35th after crashing in Stage 3.

The Truck Series returns for its 2027 season opener on Feb. 19 at Daytona International Speedway.
