Paris Saint-Germain have put an initial verbal proposal to Desire Doue over a contract extension, according to RMC Sport. The approach follows preliminary discussions between the club and the 21-year-old France international.

Details of the offer have not been disclosed. The proposal is expected to raise his salary and add two or three years to a deal that runs until June 2029. RMC Sport reported that an agreement is not expected quickly, with further negotiations needed.

Doue has contributed a goal and an assist in each of PSG's past two Champions League matches, against Manchester City and Barcelona. His contributions came on the opening two PSG goals in both games, including the 4-2 away victory over City.

The winger's recent performances follow a spell in September when he started two consecutive matches on the bench as Ferran Torres impressed early in his PSG career. The Paris club want Doue to remain central to their long-term plans.
