Paris Saint-Germain are considering an approach for Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Ibrahim Maza, according to journalist Brahim Hanifi. The reported interest concerns a potential addition to Luis Enrique’s attack, with the French club viewing the 20-year-old as a longer-term signing.

Maza has registered three goals and three assists across eight appearances this season, starting every match. The Algeria international primarily plays as a number 10, but has also appeared on either wing for Leverkusen during the campaign and can operate in midfield.

Leverkusen are already seeking to keep him beyond his current contract, which runs until 2030. Sky Sport Germany reported that the German club is working on an extension that would include an increase in pay.

PSG could also encounter competition from England if they pursue their interest. TeamTalk reported that Arsenal and Tottenham are among the English clubs looking at the former Hertha Berlin player.
