Miami has restored safety Kyle Louis to its active roster from injured reserve, the Dolphins announced. The team also elevated kicker Zane Gonzalez and edge rusher Max Llewellyn for its game against the Jets.

Louis entered the NFL as a fourth-round rookie and first appeared in the season opener. Before suffering an MCL sprain, he logged three snaps on defense, along with 14 special-teams snaps.

Gonzalez, 31, takes over kicking duties from Riley Patterson. His earlier stint with Miami included the offseason program and training camp, followed by placement on injured reserve in August. The Dolphins released him through an injury settlement on Aug. 19. Playing for Atlanta last season, he converted 19-of-22 field goals and 17-of-18 extra points across nine games.

A seventh-round rookie, Llewellyn first played in the NFL in Week 2. That appearance included two snaps on defense and another three with the special-teams unit.
