The Chiefs moved ahead of the Jets 7-6 when Kenneth Walker caught Patrick Mahomes’ seven-yard touchdown pass to open the second quarter. It was Walker’s ninth touchdown of the 2026 season.

The Jets had taken the early lead with field goals on their opening two possessions, but neither drive produced a touchdown before Kansas City reached the end zone.

Walker also contributed 13 yards on a pair of rushing attempts during the touchdown drive. Mahomes moved the offense with completions to Travis Kelce, Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice and Jalen Royals.

Walker scored eight touchdowns as the Chiefs began the season 5-0. He then went without a touchdown in their next two games, both losses, before scoring against the Jets.
