Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz has emerged as a potential January signing for Manchester United, according to The Sun. The club is reportedly weighing a short-term move, while the forward's limited opportunities could lead to his departure.

United face an extended absence for Benjamin Sesko, whose shin problem is expected to keep him out until early 2027. Surgery, if required, would prolong his recovery. Joshua Zirkzee is also expected to depart next year after making nine appearances this season.

Muniz, 25, worked with United head coach Michael Carrick during his 2022-23 loan spell at Middlesbrough. Carrick's position heading into January remains uncertain. United have also used Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha in central attacking roles this season.

The Brazilian has scored twice across 10 Fulham appearances this season, without a goal in his seven Premier League games. His record for the club across all competitions is 29 goals and four assists over 132 matches.
