Kevin Zeitler will not suit up against the Lions after the Packers designated their right guard a healthy scratch. Left guard Aaron Banks is active again after playing only one game because of injuries to his toe and knee.

The decision also leaves Donovan Jennings and rookie Jager Burton inactive with Banks back. Zeitler had been active for the previous two games, his only appearances on the active list since signing with the Packers on Sept. 30.

Zeitler collected US$250,000 for those two games. His contract carries US$2.7 million in incentives, including US$1.75 million tied to bonuses for being active on game days.

Green Bay's remaining inactives are running back Kaleb Johnson, linebacker Zaire Franklin, who has a shin injury, and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, who has a hamstring injury.

For the Lions, safety Bishop Fitzgerald, defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo, edge rusher Ahmed Hassanein, center Seth McLaughlin and tight end Jackson Meeks are inactive.
