Every team in both the AFC North and the NFC North had a winning record after Week 7. It is the first time in NFL history that two divisions have entered Week 8 with all their teams above .500.

Cleveland and Pittsburgh share 5-2 records, but the Browns lead the AFC North through their head-to-head tiebreaker over the Steelers. Cincinnati follows at 4-2, with Baltimore at 4-3.

Minnesota leads the NFC North at 6-0 and is the NFC's last unbeaten team. Chicago sits second with a 5-2 record, ahead of Detroit at 4-2 and Green Bay at 4-3.

Under the current standings, Cleveland would take the AFC's No. 3 playoff seed, Pittsburgh No. 6 and Cincinnati No. 7, leaving Baltimore outside the field. In the NFC, Minnesota would hold the No. 1 seed. All three wild-card spots would go to its division rivals: Chicago at No. 5, Detroit at No. 6 and Green Bay at No. 7.
