Sheldon Creed takes pole for NASCAR title finale at Homestead
Creed enters the season finale 42 points behind championship leader Justin Allgaier, who qualified 11th.

Sheldon Creed put his No. 00 Haas Factory Team Chevrolet first on the grid for the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series championship finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. His qualifying lap took 33.578 seconds at 160.820 miles per hour on the 1.5-mile track.
Five drivers remain in contention for the title. Creed ranks fifth among them, trailing points leader Justin Allgaier by 42 points. Allgaier qualified 11th, making him the only championship challenger outside the first 10 starting positions.
Austin Hill secured the other front-row position. Carson Kvapil qualified third, ahead of defending champion Jesse Love and Brent Crews. The next five places went to Parker Retzlaff, Corey Day, Brandon Jones, William Sawalich and Nick Sanchez.
The result gives Creed six career poles in the series, including two in 2026. The finale also marks his final race for Haas before joining Sam Hunt Racing in 2027. Speaking to CW Sports, Creed expressed confidence in his car's pace over longer runs.
Anthony Alfredo, who led Friday's practice, qualified 20th. Dawson Cram will start 38th after recording the session's slowest lap. The finale is scheduled to begin shortly after 5 p.m. ET, with coverage from the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
