Sirianni keeps Mannion as Eagles play caller amid offensive struggles
Philadelphia ranks 30th in total offense and 29th in rushing, with several key players unavailable.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said offensive coordinator Sean Mannion would retain play-calling duties despite Philadelphia’s offensive struggles. Sirianni acknowledged that improvement was needed but said neither the coaches nor the play caller would change.
Philadelphia managed 222 yards against the Panthers in Sunday’s defeat with Tanner McKee playing quarterback. McKee completed 26 passes on 45 attempts, throwing for 215 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles stand 30th in total offense and 29th in rushing.
The offense is without several key players. Running back Saquon Barkley has been absent since Week 4, while right tackle Lane Johnson unexpectedly retired on Oct. 6. Quarterback Jalen Hurts will not play again this season after his final appearance came in the Week 5 defeat against the Jaguars.
Sirianni said he and his coaching staff would spend the next few days working on ways to improve the offense, while keeping the current coaching and play-calling arrangements.
