Steelers set to add Marquez Valdes-Scantling to practice squad
The 31-year-old receiver was released by the Chargers and would return to a Pittsburgh team missing three of its top five wideouts.

Pittsburgh is bringing Marquez Valdes-Scantling back for a practice-squad stint, Mike DeFabo of TheAthletic.com reported. The move follows the Chargers' release of the 31-year-old receiver.
Injuries have sidelined three of Pittsburgh's top five receivers. Michael Pittman Jr. is out until at least Week 10 on injured reserve with a foot injury. Roman Wilson, who has a finger injury, must remain on injured reserve until at least Week 11. Ben Skowronek has a calf injury.
Valdes-Scantling's previous Steelers stint included five games last season. He finished those appearances with 80 yards and a touchdown on 10 catches.
The Packers selected Valdes-Scantling in the 2018 draft. Across four seasons alongside Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, he recorded 2,153 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 123 catches.
