New Orleans defensive end Cam Jordan is set to make his 250th appearance when the Saints host the Browns in Week 9. NBC Sports research shows he would be the third defensive player to record 250 or more appearances for a single NFL team.

The two others are Darrell Green and Jim Marshall. Green made 295 appearances for Washington between 1983 and 2002, while Marshall played 270 games for the Vikings between 1961 and 1979.

A first-round selection in 2011, Jordan has earned eight Pro Bowl selections. His 132.0 career sacks place him 22nd in the all-time rankings.

Jordan’s father, Steve Jordan, also played in the NFL. The former Vikings tight end appeared in 176 games between 1982 and 1994.
