Atlanta listed linebacker James Pearce as questionable with a back issue ahead of its Week 9 matchup with the Bengals in Madrid. The Falcons must also add him to their active roster before he can play following an eight-game suspension.

Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich said the team planned to deploy Pearce as a pass rusher against Cincinnati. Pearce participated fully in practice and had no injury reported earlier in the week, but his back problem appeared on Friday’s injury report.

Linebacker Divine Deablo, who has missed two games, received a questionable designation because of a forearm injury despite full participation in practice.

Four other players were questionable despite practicing fully: linebacker Yasir Abdullah and defensive back Billy Bowman, both with hamstring injuries; receiver Beaux Collins, with a hip injury; and offensive tackle Cameron Williams, with an ankle injury.

Atlanta ruled out running back Brian Robinson on Friday because of a hamstring injury. Receiver Zachariah Branch, also dealing with a hamstring injury, had already been ruled out and did not make the trip to Spain.
