Jets rule out Garrett Wilson for game against Chiefs
Wilson remains in concussion protocol, leaving Adonai Mitchell and rookie Omar Cooper as the Jets’ top wide receivers.

Garrett Wilson will miss the Jets’ game in Kansas City, head coach Aaron Glenn announced. The wide receiver remains in concussion protocol after sitting out practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
The absence will be Wilson’s first missed game of the season. His season totals stand at 43 catches, 527 yards and three touchdowns. With Wilson unavailable against the Chiefs, Adonai Mitchell and rookie Omar Cooper will occupy the leading spots in the Jets’ receiving group.
Glenn said the Jets expect running back Breece Hall to play despite a quad injury. Linebacker David Bailey, who has a groin injury, and tight end Mason Taylor, who has a neck injury, are also set to play.
Three other defenders will receive questionable designations: cornerback Nahshon Wright because of a back injury, along with linebacker Joseph Ossai and defensive lineman Harrison Phillips, who both have ankle injuries.
