Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Matheus Nunes and Iliman Ndiaye are available for the Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium. He said Antoine Semenyo was the squad’s only unavailable player.

A muscle problem kept Nunes out of City’s previous two matches. Ndiaye was an unused substitute in the EFL Cup victory over Brighton after being withdrawn with cramp during the 2-1 league loss at Aston Villa.

Semenyo faces several weeks out because of a knee injury, with a return potentially delayed until the end of the year. Maresca said the forward was undergoing rehabilitation and therapy at the club’s training complex, but that it remained too early to assess his recovery.

The teams meet again after City won their cup tie on penalties. Maresca changed nine players for that match, resting Erling Haaland, Elliot Anderson, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

City lead the Premier League on goal difference, level on points with Arsenal, while Brighton are third. Maresca highlighted Brighton’s attacking approach and aggressive marking, but said it was too early to judge their prospects of qualifying for the Champions League.
