Tennessee took a 14-0 lead against Cleveland in Nashville as Tony Pollard ran for two early touchdowns. The running back gained 77 rushing yards from eight carries, already his highest yardage total of the season.

Pollard finished Tennessee's first possession with a touchdown from 36 yards out. It was the first time the Titans had scored a touchdown on their opening drive that season.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was intercepted on his second passing attempt, giving the Titans the ball at Cleveland's 24-yard line. Four plays into that possession, Pollard scored again, this time on a 10-yard run.

Pollard had also recorded a career best against Cleveland in their previous meeting in December, when he finished with 161 rushing yards.
