Morgan Gibbs-White is missing from Nottingham Forest's matchday squad against Arsenal, while Mikel Arteta has changed five starters for the Premier League meeting at the City Ground on October 18. Forest coach Oliver Glasner had identified his captain as an injury doubt before the teams confirmed their selections.

Nicolas Dominguez comes in for Gibbs-White as one of two Forest changes following their 3-1 defeat by Crystal Palace. Jair Cunha replaces Ola Aina in defense, with Aina moving to the bench. Nikola Milenkovic also takes a substitute's place on his return from injury.

Arsenal bring Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz back into the starting side, along with Martin Odegaard, Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori, following their 3-0 Champions League win over Lille. Eberechi Eze retains his place after scoring in that match. Declan Rice partners Bruno Guimaraes in midfield, while Martin Zubimendi is among the substitutes after an ankle injury kept him out against Lille.

Illan Meslier makes Arsenal's Premier League matchday squad for the first time since joining in the summer, with Kepa Arrizabalaga absent. Victory would leave Arsenal three points behind Manchester City. A Forest win would put them on eight points, level with Newcastle United in 11th and Aston Villa in 12th.
