Lando Norris claimed victory for McLaren in the Brazilian Grand Prix, with a winning margin of over 14 seconds against Max Verstappen. The result kept Norris in contention for a top-three placing in the Formula 1 Drivers Championship.

Kimi Antonelli took the lead from Norris early in a race that began on intermediate tires in changing conditions. Norris regained the advantage, while Verstappen worked his way forward from the rear of the grid. Red Bull teammate Isack Hadjar finished third after starting fifth.

George Russell secured fourth despite a spin while leaving the pit lane. Antonelli finished fifth in his first outing as world champion, having struggled with the transition to soft tires and also spun at the first corner.

Sixth place went to Oscar Piastri, ahead of Charles Leclerc and Liam Lawson. Lewis Hamilton finished ninth after making early progress through the field, and Nico Hulkenberg was 10th.

Mercedes clinched the Constructors title with three races still to run, establishing a 140-point lead over Ferrari. Verstappen's advantage over Russell in the battle for second in the Drivers standings reached 17 points.
