Aston Villa reportedly eye January move for Oguz Aydin
Talks with Fenerbahce officials reportedly covered the Turkey winger’s availability, but the club’s willingness to sell and any asking price remain unclear.

Aston Villa are preparing a January approach for Fenerbahce winger Oguz Aydin after discussions between the clubs in Birmingham, according to Turkish newspaper Sabah, cited by Sport Witness. The report said Villa sought details about his availability and the terms of a possible transfer.
The discussions took place during Fenerbahce’s visit for a Champions League match that Villa won 6-0. Aydin’s performance drew the attention of Unai Emery’s team despite the defeat. Whether Fenerbahce would consider selling him, and what fee they might seek, remains unknown.
Aydin played all 90 minutes against Villa, producing three key passes and one big chance. He completed 91% of his passes and recorded 0.68 expected assists (xA).
The 25-year-old has made 16 appearances for Turkey and recorded five goal contributions across eight league outings this season. He can play on either wing or as a second striker, with his right foot the stronger of the two.
